noisician.com announces
a Night of International Noise

 audio samples

The following full length mp3s from most of the bands performing at the June 1 Night of International Noise will be available for a very limited time only. Once the show comes and goes, so will these! Sorry, titles are not available for all tracks.
UPDATE: The mp3s mentioned below have all been removed.

Skrol
From the Czech Republic. Skrol's pounding, plodding songs make me think of early Swans or early Laibach, with a female vocalist.

Schloss Tegal
Schloss Tegal is a US based dark ambient artist who deals with subject matter such as psychic phenomena, UFOs, etc.

Brutum Fulmen
"It Was 1951 When I First Contacted the Moon"

A track from our brand new split LP with Lasse Marhaug, Tender Wreckage. This one is actually a (mostly unrecogizable) remix of a piece on Lasse's side. Email me for more info, or watch this site.

Damian Catera
"ILAL"

This New Yorker is an ex-member of Condemek and a guitar experimentalist. This track is named after an imaginary stop on the subway to Brooklyn is taken from his solo CD Process, Object, Intuition.

Lux Mammoth
"Device Wise Length"

This is an Australian dual-bass guitar act. They've also been known to perform with power tools and beef carcasses. This recording may seem somewhat sedate, but be prepared to hold your ears when you encounter them live.

Einleitungszeit
Einleitungszeit is a power electronics act out of Slovakia.

Perlonex
This Berlin, Germany based trio creates minimalist electro-acoustic improvisational soundscapes. This piece either includes some CD-skipping as part of the sound, or my copy is damaged.

Ortho
Unfortunately, I do not have a recording of this NYC act. Last time I saw them, they were dressed as sheep and acting out modern morality plays to a backdrop of punishing noise.

Viodre
Viodre is a Long Island based noise trio who will attempt to clear the venue when they kick off the night with their aural assault. After that they will spin records between acts on the 3rd floor.

Dan Bodah
Recently transplanted from Massachussetts where he DJ'd an experimental show at UMass Amherst, this NJ resident now DJ's at the great WFMU and will be gracing the 2nd floor with interstitial platter spinning.

Joe Christ
My Struggle

This American independent filmmaker may be best known for his stomach turning documentary of the piercing and scarification scene, Sex Blood & Mutilation, featuring nutjob luminary Genesis P-Orrige. My Struggle is his brand new film about inbred Amish kidnapping rapists. That should be enticement enough, so I won't even mention the female shit-flinging retard, or the bombs and drugs, or the white guy in black-face. Visit Joe's homepage for further details.
